Growing up in a vine and wine growing family, getting involved in the family business took Matan on a journey that started in building a winery, to building a whisky distillery, and then to use the technology developed for his whisky distillery in building Verstill.

Matan is a serial entrepreneur behind four companies, and besides studying wine and whisky making, has substantial background in unmanned aircraft technology development and operation (as test pilot, instructor, and various management positions).

Matan is passionate for science, innovation, building organizations, new technology and great people.
